Who we are
Orange Pharma was founded in 2006 by four pharmacists with the aim of organizing their procurement processes more efficiently and effectively. During this period, it became clear that pharmacies in the Caribbean region regularly faced challenges in obtaining medicines. This led to the decision to start supplying the Caribbean.
In 2012, the first order was delivered, marking the beginning of a long-term partnership and further growth in the region.
Founed in practice, grown through collaboration and commitment.
Gradual growth and expansion
From 2016 onwards, Orange Pharma also focused on hospitals and wholesalers overseas, and distribution within the European Union was initiated. The relocation in 2018 to a modern facility in Deventer provided increased capacity and supported further professionalization.
The acquisition of wholesaler Pharmastore Sint Maarten have strengthened our regional presence.
New services and further professionalization
Over the years, our services have expanded to additional countries. In 2023, we also invested in increasing our warehouse capacity with the construction of a new and modern facility. In 2024, our activities were further expanded to include supporting independent treatment centers in their procurement processes.
Orange Pharma was nominated for the FD Gazellen Awards,recognizing the fastest-growing companies in the Netherlands, for five consecutive years, and won the award in 2025. A great recognition of sustainable growth and entrepreneurship.
Our focus today
Despite our growth, one goal remains central: improving access to medicines and healthcare products, with personal attention as our foundation and a strong focus on the Caribbean region. The real difference is made by our people: a team of over 60 dedicated professionals. Together, we work every day to support you with a personal approach.
